So, I got off work late tonight and ran to REI to pick up something.. On the way home I started complaining about not wanting to go home to an empty house (God heard me, see what he did next). I got really near my house and got a phone call from a guy on craigslist (he was 2 hrs late in calling when he said he would). I had already driven back to my side of town but since it was such a good deal, I told him I'd come over anyway. Even though I'm tired. I found myself complaining that I didn't want to go all the way across town, but went home first to do some laundry.When I started sifting through clothes, I pulled out $45 dollars out of a pocket.. That was cool.
I drove over to the guy's house (far north west side of Fresno), and bought this Thule roof rack (bars & towers) for $25. Wicked cheap. I then realized that a buddy of mine lived really closeby to where I bought it, was moving to the mid-west, and was talking about getting a rack for his jeep. So, I stopped by, gave him the rack as a going away present, hung out for a few hours, & picked up some stuff I left with him.
Then, I got home and started thinking about my day. How, initially I didn't want to go home to an empty house, then within a matter of 5 minutes, my night took a completely unexpected turn, that I was not alone, and was able to bless my friend with something I didn't even have the cash for until I got home. Neat how little things like this all perfectly fell into place... I know who did it. : ) His fingerprints are on it all the way. Thanks Jesus!!
